My reflection
As a female, I would not want to live in ancient Greece. Women and girls back them had no say in anything and were unimportant to the government. While boys were getting education and men were acting in theatre and doing important things, the women just stayed at home to do chores. It would be boring as a woman or girl back then and I think it's unfair that they had no right or say to get involved in anything important.
Holiday Post: the zoo
On the 26th of June, my aunt, my cousin and I went to the zoo. We arrived there at about 9.30 am and we went to see the polar bear exhibit, just in time to catch their feeding time. After that, we went to the Splash Safari Show. There were many cute penguins as well as fat manatees. But the highlight of the show was a smart sea lion called Phillip, who was trained to do many tricks to impress the crowd. After lunch, we went to the play area. It was really fun! Before going home, I had some ice-cream. The zoo was a blast!

Holiday post: R.I.P
Michael Jackson's death was so shocking and saddening. The more I think about it, the more sad I get. The news hasn't sunk in yet. It's just so tragic. He was an iconic legend. He was a child prodigy and was singing since the age of 5. He had no singing or dancing lessons and yet his voice and dancing was amazing. All the fans around the world are mourning for him. Words fail me. He was someone whose talent could not be matched. He was an amazing person and his music will live on forever.
R.I.P Michael Jackson, you will be remembered and missed.
Holiday post: Drag me to hell
One word: DISGUSTING!!!! There was a lot of vomiting and disgusting scenes, but overall the movie was shocking. The old woman was so scary and the scenes were so shocking that I spilled half of my popcorn on the floor. Literally. Expect bizzare scenes and frights in this creepy thriller. They will DRAG YOU TO HELL.
Holiday post: A night at someone's house
On thursday night, I went to someone's house for dinner. My family, the person's family and my friend Avril and her mom were there. The kids sat in front of the TV while eating dinner while the parents sat at the table like proper people. The person's brother insisted on watching Meet The Robinsons, which is a horrible show, so we had to bear with it. After dinner, we played Taboo (except the mothers). I was in the person, the person's brother, my brother and my aunt's team. The other team consisted of the person's sister, my dad, the person's dad and Avril. In the end, my team won. During the game, the person kept guzzling down nachos and jumping from one chair to the other, screaming, "All hail the freedom of animal milatia!" It gave me a headache.
After that, me, the person, the person's brother and my brother played x-box till midnight. It was fun! We played mortal kombat, fifa 08 and halo 3.
Who is the person?
Holiday post: land of the lost
IT WAS HILARIOUS!!! really awesome. there were some undeniably ridiculously silly parts, but overall i loved it!!! laugh out loud everyone should watch it!!! whether its the fierce t-rex or the scary weird aliens, its a movie the whole family will enjoy!!!
P.S. Did I mention that it's hilarious??
Holiday post: Night at the Museum 2
I SAY IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! I laughed my head off. By far the funniest movie i've ever watched. I recommend EVRYONE to watch it. You won't regret it! a laugh-out-loud comedy!!! I rate it 6/5. A must-watch. I would say the one who stole the show was Hank Azaria, the one who played Kamunrah, the voice of Abraham lincoln and the voice of the thinker. All the parts that included him were SO funny!!!!!!!! watch it it is so awesome!!!
Holiday post: My favourite places
These are my favourite places:
1. Home
It has 2 televisions, a skateboard, a scooter, four computers, 4 balls, a skipping rope, a nice sofa, comfy beds-home sweet home! I've got my family and my toys and the comfort and warmth of home (not to mention assesment books... -_-)
2. America
It is the funnest, coolest place I have ever been to (besides, all my favourite singers are from there) and my cousins live there too. The people are nice and the weather is neat.
3. Cinemas

Creativity
It depends. You're either born with it- you're asked do do something and you can do something creative and original, or you're taught it- somebody teaches you and you slowly get more and more creative.
Courtesy
Courtesy is being polite. I see a lot of people being courteous in school but not that often in public. Like there are irritating people talking loudly or babies crying in cinemas. There are little kids I don't know who like to tug at my stuff in public. And there are also people who are just plain rude to everyone.
My March hols
My hols were horrible! It all went by too short, and I had tons of homework! But it was fun coz Jing Ying and Gracia came to do the YOG project. I wish that it would last longer! :(
Of Course not!
Family is much more important than an object, even if the object is like a million dollars. Family is the most important thing to me. That's something money can't buy.
My wishes
Well, I have many wishes in life, and here's what I've been dreaming about...
I wish I could live in America. I love Florida and I went to Disneyland in 2007. It was a blast! And I wish that I could get either a kitten or a puppy. I don't mind whichever one. I want to go to Bali and I just wish most of all that Singapore has summer holidays. They last 3 WHOLE MONTHS!!!

My week
My week was ok, I guess. It was hard to get used to school after the camp. How was your week? Assesments piled up as usual and the days passed by downright ordinary. But I was still in a camp mood.
P5 Camp
MAN, IT WAS AWESOME!!! I didn't care about the no air-con or whatever things you guys complain about(except the awful food)! It was probably the most fun thing I have EVER been to! Yes, Mrs Tay, the campfire was a BLAST!!! I was quite amazed how Nicolas could stand in front and sing for so long. But my personal favourite was Group 5 and 6 because they were so funny and me and my friends were laughing our heads off like crazy. In the dorm I had to sleep on the floor along with Rosa, Sonia, Priya and Tershenne. But it was so fun in the dorm! On the first day, we had lots of fun activities! I beat everyone in my group in the skipping game and we had so much fun helping one another up and over The Wall. From that activity I have learnt the importance of teamwork. Despite getting incredibly dirty, we really enjoyed ourselves and learnt a lot of values. Every night, before lights out, Vanessa, Eva, Rui Qi, Nicole and I had so much fun! We switched on our torchlights, shone them onto our faces and laughed our evil laugh. Like, "MUA HAHAHAHA! AH HAHAHAHA!" And we took turns to do that to see who laughs and looks the scariest. Then we went to sleep. On the second day, we all woke up at 4.30 and we all took a shower. Then, my group did rock-climbing(i could climb halfway) and then abseiling. then we did outdoor cooking and high elements. That was a blast! Then, the CAMPFIRE!!! I loved singing along to the pop songs they played around it coz knew all of them. It was so much fun watching the other groups perform their items. And I loved the campfire songs and the other cheers and songs. What fun!!!
I enjoyed camp!
I enjoyed camp!
My Hobbies
My hobbies are drawing, writing, chatting, blogging, listening to music, ice-skating, playing Nintendo DS, cycling, doing tricks on my bicycle, riding my scooter, skateboarding(I'm not that good yet), roller-blading, singing, reading and don't forget playing computer games and watching TV!
Stress
Yes, Mrs Tay, I agree that pupils are under more pressure and are more stressed. This is because there is more homework nowadays and the new syllabus is harder and requires students to do more work.
